Rotary Club of Wanchai was chartered on 18 April 1990.  This year 2024-25 will be 35 years, our club currently has 28 members, but represent 11 different nationalities. Our members come from Germany, Canada, Japan, India, Malaysia, Mauritius, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and France, among many others.

In terms of Gender, over thirty-three (33) percent of our members are female.
 

Having so many different nationalities in the same club, also makes us very aware of the importance of inclusiveness within our club.
 

We have a range of local and international service projects that cover Rotary’s seven areas of focus.  Some of them include services for domestic violence shelters for women and children; Schools for children with learning disabilities; Scholarships for university and secondary school youths; food & pandemic supply distribution for sanitation workers, street sleepers & elderlies living by themselves.
